Twee excellente studenten van Stenden en NHL krijgen de kans om een jaar lang stage te lopen bij het gerenommeerde UMB/MENTOR Centre for Evidence-Based Mentoring in Boston.

Jelle de Graaf, student Sociaal Pedagogisch Hulpverlening bij Stenden en Vera van den Berg, studente Pedagogiek bij de NHL, ontvingen de beurzen afgelopen donderdag 17 maart uit handen van Klaas Wybo van der Hoek tijdens de European Mentoring Summit. Jorrit Volkers, bestuurslid van de Stichting FB Oranjewoud sprak het publiek via filmpje toe: "The FB Oranjewoud Foundation wants to stimulate the Northern economy and especially in Friesland. Mentoring is a key factor in the development of young people, especially when senior, successful entrepreneurs pass their inspiration on. The atmosphere of Boston with magnificent innovative projects between education and entrepreneurs is an inspiration to Friesland. We are proud to give the FB Oranjewoud Scholarships to the two students and wish them luck, pleasure and inspiration in Boston!"
