NTS-Group and Cortec Precision start cooperation
Prototype production in the USA combined with series production in Singapore
The leading high tech original equipment manufacturing companies based in the Bay Area of the USA, increasingly ask for the combined solution of prototype production near to their engineering departments in the USA with a seamless transfer to series production near to their locations in
Singapore. Cortec Precision, with its USA facilities, and NTS-Group, with its Singapore plants, have agreed to start a cooperation in order to provide a solution for this demand.
In this cooperation, Cortec Precision will support NTS-Group by building the proto systems and first small series for the NTS US customers in order to validate the design. For this, Cortec Precision will make use of their facilities in San Jose and Austin. After stabilization of the product,
Cortec Precision will support NTS-Group to transfer the series production to its facilities in Asia. Vice versa, NTS Group Asia can support Cortec Precision to provide for the series production of products for the Cortec Precision customers in Asia.
Joseph Villareal, Global Business and NPI Development Manager at Cortec Precision and Ger Fontijn, Program Manager NTS Group USA are the first contact persons and are responsible for the execution of the cooperation. Michael Corrales Jr, Executive Director Cortec Precision Asia and Roald
Dogge, Vice President NTS Group Asia, are the first contact persons in Asia.
