FEB and EBF are looking back on a successful opening of our new academic year on 3 September. After the opening by professor Peter Verhoef and a welcome by Dean Harry Garretsen and EBF chairman Ilse Grasmeijer the guest speakers were introduced: Roelof Joosten, CEO Royal Friesland Campina and
Henk Jan Beltman, CCO -Chief Chocolate Officer- Tony's Chocolonely. Both graduates of the RUG.

During the break it was time to announce the winners of the FEB awards for best lecturer, best newcomer and best freshman of the year. And the event was concluded by a social with drinks, snacks and music and the presentation of the walk of fame of FEB.
The winners:
|> Freshman of the Year: Anouk Tolsma (BSc Business Administration, average grade 9,2!)
|> Best New lecturer of the year: Dr. Jochem de Bresser
|> Best Lecturer of the year: Dr. Viola Angelini (also winner in 2013!)
