2015 Tax Survey now available

The Research Department of the Ministry of Finance recently published the 2015 edition of the Tax Survey. This publication provides a regularly updated overview of the Belgian tax legislation.

The first part of the Tax Survey covers direct taxation (PIT and CIT). The new PIT chapter includes the changes made for the implementation of the new arrangements on the devolution of the taxing powers to the Regions. These have now full discretion on a list of tax expenditures. In addition
to that, PIT is split into a federal and a regional branch.

The second part of the Tax Survey deals with indirect taxation; VAT, registration duties, estate duties, excises duties etc.
