Iris Jonkers awarded a Rosalind Franklin Fellowship

Today the Board of the University of Groningen announced the apointments of new Rosalind Franklin Fellowships, including one to our postdoctoral fellow Dr Iris Jonkers, who joined the department last year.
A Rosalind Franklin Fellowship is a prestigious 5-year grant for women at a relatively early stage of their academic careers, but with a proven track record of excellence. The fellowships are highly competitive. This funding will allow Iris to establish an independent research programme and,
if successful, will lead to a more permanent academic position.
