Dem Slackers gaat met zijn nieuwe release Global Grind down under
De 19-jarige dj/producer Dem Slackers brengt op 28 april zijn nieuwe EP met als lead-track "Global Grind" uit. Dem Slackers hierover; "Ik ben erg benieuwd hoe mijn fans hierop gaan reageren. Tot nu toe is hij erg lekker gevallen onder alle DJ's, dus dat is een goed teken."
Het Australische label Downright (sub-label Ministry of Sound) brengt de EP uit. Dj/club promotor/producer Larry Tee noemt het nu al zijn beste EP tot nu toe.
De Global Grind EP bestaat uit drie tracks, inclusief een remix van het producers duo Baskerville. Enkele reacties tot nu toe:
Tiësto: "really cool, I especially like Global Grind!"
Bart B More: "Great EP dude, I think 'Are You Ready' and that Baskerville remix are the best ones"
AC Slater: "I love Are You Ready. Definitely will be playing this one."
Ter ondersteuning van de release zal Dem Slackers in juli gaan touren door Australië en Nieuw Zeeland. Daarnaast gaat hij in mei en juni optreden in Portugal, Frankrijk, Duitsland en de UK en staat hij op diverse Nederlandse festivals zoals o.a. Dance Valley en Wish Outdoor. Zijn tweemaandelijkse avond Slackers in Duycker vindt weer plaats op 4 juni, met DJ optredens van o.a. Bart B More en Riptide.
