Partijen tekenen vijfjarige overeenkomst voor technologie outsourcing diensten
AMSTELVEEN, 19 oktober 2009 - HP Enterprise Services en Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications hebben een vijfjarige overeenkomst getekend voor technologie outsourcing diensten. Dit stelt Sony Ericsson in staat om de kosten te verlagen en de flexibiliteit verder te verhogen door het standaardiseren van de technologie omgeving.
De overeenkomst houdt in dat HP management diensten voor de infrastructuur gaat verlenen voor onder andere Sony Ericsson's wereldwijde server Non-HP site en storage Non-HP site omgevingen. Daarnaast blijft HP de wereldwijde service desk Non-HP site leveren voor de eindgebruikers en ondersteuning van applicaties. HP blijft ook Sony Ericsson's SAP enterprise landschap en databases hosten en besturen.
HP zal deze diensten leveren vanuit een combinatie van Sony Ericsson locaties en wereldwijde HP dienstencentra.
De overeenkomst bouwt voort op de langdurige relatie tussen HP en Sony Ericsson. Onder andere contracten levert HP ook hardware, software en business process outsourcing diensten aan het bedrijf.

This contract builds upon HP's long-term relationship with Sony Ericsson. Under separate agreements, HP also provides hardware, software and business process outsourcing services to the company. HP Enterprise Services is the recently announced brand name for Electronic Data Systems, LLC.
