16.02.2009 // Don Diablo met nieuwe track in Amerikaanse serie CSI New York

DJ, producer, zanger en remixer Don Diablo beleefde afgelopen woensdag, 11 februari, met zijn gloednieuwe track 'Too Cool For School' zijn première in de Amerikaanse hit serie CSI New York. In aflevering 14 van seizoen 5 van de populaire misdaadserie was een deel van de nieuwe track te horen tijdens het sporenonderzoek in het CSI laboratorium. Bij CSI New York houdt het niet op voor Don Diablo. De Nederlandse producer is momenteel ook één van de vijf meest geblogde artiesten op internet. Dit blijkt uit de blogchart van de populaire site hypem.com die dagelijks alle wereldwijde muziekblogs bijhoudt. Vorige week stond Diablo zelfs op de eerste positie. Hiermee laat Don Diablo artiesten als Kings Of Leon en Lilly Allen achter zich; zie onderstaand een overzicht van wat een aantal van de grootste muziekblogs over Don Diablo te melden hebben. Eerder bleek uit een onderzoek van Radio 538 dat Don Diablo al de meest gegooglede hunk was van 2008.

In oktober 2008 is het nieuwe album van Don Diablo 'Life Is A festival' uitgekomen, welke gelanceerd is op het Amsterdam Dance Event. Sinds de release van het album heeft Don Diablo veel opgetreden in binnen,- en buitenland, waarbij hij o.a. optredens in Australië heeft gegeven. Op dit moment is Don Diablo in New York om daar te werken aan een aantal opkomende projecten.
