RIM en Brightpoint sluiten wereldwijde distributieovereenkomst
Waterloo, Canada/ Bunnik, 7 mei 2008 - Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) en Brightpoint hebben een wereldwijde distributieovereenkomst gesloten. Hierin is vastgelegd dat Brightpoint producten van RIM mag distribueren in Noord-Amerika, Latijns-Amerika, Europa, het Midden-Oosten en Afrika, Azië en Oceanië. Volgens dit akkoord zal Brightpoint een breed scala aan RIM BlackBerry® smartphones ondersteunen en bijdragen tot de wereldwijde groei en verspreiding van BlackBerry-producten en -diensten. Dit doet de distributeur via zijn uitgebreide klantenbestand dat uit meer dan 25.000 distributiepartners wereldwijd bestaat.
