Alteon and Lufthansa Technical Training Define Highest Global Maintenance Training Standard With Newly-formed Aviation Training Alliance Network

Alteon Training, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA), announced it has signed an agreement with Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT), in line with the company's plans to set up a global maintenance training alliance consisting of top aviation training companies around the world. This strategic alliance will focus on providing customer- oriented solutions to meet or exceed the airlines' and the local regulatory agencies' requirements.

With an increased pool of resources including instructors, facilities, training courses and materials, the new alliance will optimize the organizations' training capacity for airline maintenance personnel around the world. Currently the jointly offered maintenance training courses are available for Boeing 737NG, Boeing 777 and the Boeing 747-400.
