LINNAEUS SYMPOSIUM

8 november 2007

Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, 8-9 november 2007

In het kader van het Linnaeusjaar 2007 organiseert de opleiding Scandinavische Talen en Culturen in samenwerking met het Arctisch Centrum op 8 en 9 november 2007 een tweedaags, Engelstalig symposium over deze beroemde Zweedse natuurwetenschapper (1707-1778). Internationale wetenschappers geven lezingen over o.m. Linnaeus' gedachten over de biologie, botaniek en geografie. Het voorlopige programma van dit symposium ziet er als volgt uit:

This symposium will be conducted entirely in English. Participation in the Linnaeus symposium is free of cost, except for dinner (EUR 35,-).
