CORPORATE EXPRESS NV VERKOOPT VEENMAN DUITSLAND

Amsterdam, 7 september 2007 - Corporate Express en Konica Minolta Business Solutions Duitsland hebben overeenstemming bereikt aangaande de overname van Veenman Duitsland door Konica Minolta.

De activiteiten van Veenman Duitsland betreffen de verkoop en service van printing equipment voor papieren en elektronische documenten. De onderneming heeft 250 medewerkers in dienst en realiseerde in 2006 een omzet van EUR 36 miljoen.

Voor Konica Minolta is de overname een logische stap in het verder uitbreiden van haar Europese marktpositie. Daarnaast is Konica Minolta één van de belangrijkste leveranciers van Veenman via het LINIUM merk.

De transactie is afhankelijk van goedkeuring door de Duitse kartelautoriteit.
