NIEUWEGEIN, The Netherlands, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- As announced earlier our Norwegian associate Bremanger Quarry has
acquired all the shares in a sandstone quarry, with access by water and with
a concession of approximately 100 million tonnes. The holder of this
concession is French road construction contractor Eurovia, which is part of
the Vinci group.
At the same time Eurovia acquired a minority interest in Bremanger
Quarry.
Subsequently, our Norwegian associate also has acquired an option on
shares in Antwerp Stone Terminal (AST). AST holds the concession and licence
for a terminal in the port of Antwerp and holds contracts with various
suppliers of aggregates, including Bremanger Quarry. Eurovia and road
construction company Van Wellen (Antwerp) are shareholders of AST.
