Getronics PinkRoccade kiest Borland voor Application Lifecycle Management ALM van Borland reduceert kosten en verbetert productiviteit voor Getronics
Amstelveen 5 februari 2007 Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ: BORL, www.borland.com), marktleider in Open Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), werkt samen met Getronics PinkRoccade in Nederland. Getronics PinkRoccade zal de ALM-oplossingen van Borland gebruiken om zijn applicatiemanagement en -ontwikkeling te standaardiseren. Borland gaat het bedrijf daarnaast ondersteunen bij het behalen van de CMMI level 3-certificatie voor het beheer van kritieke softwareprocessen.
Getronics PinkRoccade is onderdeel van Getronics. De divisie Application Services van Getronics PinkRoccade biedt technologie voor het beheer van data en informatie in bedrijfsprocessen. Samen met Borland wil deze divisie haar IT-infrastructuur optimaliseren en haar processen voor applicatieontwikkeling en -onderhoud verder stroomlijnen. Daarvoor gebruikt Getronics PinkRoccade de tools, consultancy en training van Borland. De organisatie creëert nu best-practices voor applicatieontwikkeling en -beheer in Nederland, met de intentie om die wereldwijd uit te rollen.
"Onze keuze voor Borland levert nu al een voordeel op in de vorm van een effectiever gebruik van resources. Daarmee kunnen we de kosten terugbrengen. We verwachten voor het eind van het jaar een productiviteitsgroei van 25 procent gerealiseerd te hebben", zegt Alain le Loux, Director of Application Services & Projects bij Getronics PinkRoccade. "Borland begrijpt onze business beter dan ieder ander bedrijf waarmee we hebben gewerkt. Dit is echt een partnerschap voor ons."
