Kampusch Opposes Unauthorised Book Projects
VIENNA, Austria, November 17 /PRNewswire/ --
- The Legal Advisers of Natascha Kampusch are Preparing Measures to Counter
Unauthorised Book Projects. They Declared That They Will "Use Every Means at Our
Disposal" To Combat Free-Riders.
Due to mounting evidence that work is underway around the world on several books about
Natascha Kampusch, her legal advisers are now taking measures to prevent such projects.
Ms Kampusch's solicitor, Dr. Gerald Ganzger, commented on these efforts by saying: "Ms
Kampusch has repeatedly stated in public and now again stated for the record that on no
account does she wish anyone to write a book about her. Violation of her personal rights
will therefore be opposed with every means available. Unauthorised book projects,
paparazzi and other free-riders must be aware of the fact that they are violating the
rights of Ms Kampusch."
Ms Kampusch has yet to decide whether she will write a book some day. At present all
offers to this effect are being collected by the Viennese law firm Lansky, Ganzger &
Partners at her request. They are ensuring that all bidders are treated equally when it
comes to making a decision. No details of the offers are to be published due to the
ongoing negotiations.
