Cybertrust, de wereldwijde specialist in informatiebeveiliging, kondigt de onmiddellijke beschikbaarheid aan van Risk Commander 2.5, haar compliancy management oplossing. Nieuwe functionaliteiten en verbeteringen aan Risk Commander omvatten een Content Management System (CMS) en compliancymodules voor de databeveiligingsstandaard van de betaalkaartindustrie (Payment Card Industry of PCI Data Security Standard), ISO 27001 en de North American Electrical Reliability Council (NERC). Deze uitgebreide capaciteiten maken het voor klanten ook mogelijk om continu de naleving van de regelgeving te bewerkstelligen door efficiënt af te stemmen met hun doelstellingen inzake bedrijfsproductiviteit en tegelijkertijd inefficiënte en overbodige manuele verzamel-, analyse- en rapporteringprocessen over meerdere mandaten en voorschriften weg te werken.

Risk Commander uses a proven approach and methodology to help organizations handle separate compliance controls, as well as organization-specific information security controls. With the addition of the PCI, ISO 27001 and NERC mandates, Cybertrust expands its reach to help customers efficiently measure compliance across multiple standards by reusing common controls, data-sources and assessment responses.

The addition of the CMS allows for easy customization and publishing of content for use in Risk Commander and includes new content wizards that provide a step-by-step walk through for creating custom standards, such as internal policies, questions and assessment templates. The CMS also reconciles conflicts among content versions and provides content validation to ensure its integrity and efficient use within Risk Commander. These updates allow customers to manage assessment templates by exporting them out of Risk Commander into the CMS, where they can then be imported and/or exported into a spreadsheet for easy compliance report generation. Customers can also now benefit from auto-generation of rules via a simple two-step process, and an outline navigation dashboard allows for a simple view of content relationships and mapping.

Risk Commander has also expanded its resource management capabilities to keep time with organizational changes and optimize performance and resource management. Customers can more easily synchronize with changes in asset ownership in the event of restructuring at all levels within an organizational hierarchy.
