Nieuwste versie Borland C++Builder® 2006 RAD-omgeving beschikbaar
~ C++Builder nu wereldwijd beschikbaar voor ontwikkelaars als onderdeel van de meertalige Borland Developer Studio ~
Amstelveen - 9 maart, 2006 Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ NM: BORL) kondigt de algehele beschikbaarheid aan van de Borland C++Builder® 2006 rapid application development (RAD)-omgeving. C++Builder® 2006 is naast Delphi® en C#Builder® onderdeel van Borland Developer Studio, een meertalige ontwikkelomgeving voor Microsoft® Windows®- en .NET-applicaties, en is de enige geïntegreerde ontwikkelomgeving (IDE) die ondersteuning biedt aan Delphi (zowel Windows als .NET), C, C++ en C#-applicaties binnen één enkel product. Deze aankondiging volgt op de introductie van Borland's previewversie van C++Builder in december 2005.
C++Builder 2006 voegt nieuwe productiviteit en verbeterde mogelijkheden toe aan Borland Developer Studio. C++Builder 2006, een complete omgeving voor GUI, database en webontwikkeling, is ontworpen om programmering te vereenvoudigen en vervelende ontwikkeltaken te elimineren. Op deze manier kunnen softwareteams snel en kostenefficiënt krachtige Windows-bedrijfsapplicaties leveren. Deze versie breidt voorgaande versies van C++Builder uit met de nieuwste RAD-features en ALM-integraties voor C en C++ ontwikkeling.

De Borland Developer Studio (Delphi, C++Builder and C#Builder) is nu beschikbaar. Een gratis downloadversie van de Borland C++Builder 2006 is beschikbaar voor bestaande klanten van Borland Developer Studio om C++ te upgraden tot volledige productiestatus.
