INFORMATICA BREIDT WERELDWIJDE SAMENWERKINGSOVEREENKOMSTEN MET TOONAANGEVENDE PARTNERS UIT
Nieuwegein - 16 juni 2005 - Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), toonaangevende aanbieder van data integratie software heeft tijdens haar jaarlijkse internationale gebruikersconferentie Informatica World 2005 drie belangrijke samenwerkingsverbanden aangekondigd. De overeenkomsten met Siebel Systems en i2 Technologies werden verder uitgebreid, terwijl met Itemfield een nieuwe samenwerkingsovereenkomst werd gesloten. Hieronder een samenvatting van deze drie aankondigingen.
INFORMATICA TEKENT OEM-OVEREENKOMST MET ITEMFIELD
Overeenkomst biedt ondersteuning van ongestructureerde data
Informatica gaat de technologie van Itemfield, specialist op het gebied van complexe data transformaties, binnen het Informatica PowerCenter data integratieplatform integreren. Hierdoor levert Informatica als eerste een uniform platform voor het verwerken van alle ongestructureerde, semi-gestructureerde en gestructureerde data binnen een organisatie. Deze nieuwe OEM-overeenkomst zorgt er voor dat klanten sneller toegang krijgen tot nog meer verschillende datatypes binnen hun organisatie.

Langdurige OEM-relatie uitgebreid om Informatica's real-time data integratie technologie in te bouwen en gezamenlijke distributie mogelijk te maken
Informatica heeft een vernieuwd en uitgebreider OEM-partnerschap aangekondigd met i2 Technologies, Inc. (OTC: ITWH). Informatica's data integratieplatform was reeds ingebouwd in de i2 Supply Chain Operation Services (SCOS)-oplossing, maar met deze uitgebreidere overeenkomst komt nu echter ook de real-time functionaliteit van PowerCenter beschikbaar in i2 S~COS. Naast deze uitbreiding in functionaliteit is de OEM-overeenkomst ook nog eens met drie jaar verlengd.
Informatica PowerCenter is sinds 2001 een belangrijke integraal component in de i2 supply chain oplossing, een schaalbaar platform waarmee klanten grote hoeveelheden data uit verschillende sources kunnen integreren.

Siebel Expert Services kiest voor Informatica PowerCenter om downtime te minimaliseren wanneer klanten moeten migreren naar de nieuwste Siebel versies
Het Siebel Systems' Expert Services-team heeft er voor gekozen Informatica's PowerCenter enterprise data integratieplatform in te zetten om snelle beschikbaarheid van software-upgrades voor klanten te realiseren. Dit om de downtime - die normaal geassocieerd wordt met migraties - te minimaliseren. De klant wil immers zo weinig mogelijk of geen tijd verliezen bij het migreren naar de nieuwste versies van Siebel CRM-applicaties. Informatica garandeert die gewenste beschikbaarheid van de systemen.
