Introductiebijeenkomst Nieuwe VEA Cursus Onderhandelen op 1 februari a.s.

Good negotiating has always been important in the advertising industry, but recent changes make it ever more so. The encroachment of Client Procurement, escalating production costs, reduced budgets, client demand for new rewards systems, the changing face of media supply, and the increasing turnover of client marketing personnel make agency skills in this area significantly important.

Negotiating is a skill, and like all skills can only be improved with practice. We are planning to run Negotiating Skills workshops this spring (April 4 - 6) and autumn (September 26 28).

To introduce some of the concepts we have invited Stephen White, Managing Partner of Scotwork, to speak on
Tuesday February 1st during lunchtime.

Scotwork is Europes leading Negotiating Skills provider, and trains senior personnel in advertising agencies, media shops, and media providers in the UK and Europe. Stephen leads the Negotiating Skills course run by the IPA (VEAs partner organisation in the UK). He is a keynote speaker at many ad agency conferences.
