Geachte redacties,
Hierbij ontvangt u het programma voor de conferentie "Eén munt, één
Euregio?", die a.s. woensdag 6 februari in Maastricht wordt gehouden in
aanwezigheid van president van de Europese Centrale Bank, Dr. W. Duisenberg.
Duisenbergs grote verdienste voor de monetaire eenwording van Europa zal bij
deze speciale gelegenheid worden belicht, onder anderen door oud-president
Tietmeyer van de Deutsche Bundesbank.
Tevens zal tijdens het symposium een onderzoek worden gepresenteerd met als
centraal thema "Leidt de euro tot Euregionale integratie?", dat de Faculteit
der Economische Wetenschappen en Bedrijfskunde van de Universiteit
Maastricht heeft uitgevoerd in opdracht van de gemeente Maastricht.
De voertaal tijdens het symposium is Engels.
