Borland introduceert Kylix Open Edition
voor Linux gebruikersgroep

Borland, de toonaangevende leverancier van e-business platform oplossingen, introduceert Borland® Kylix® Open Edition. Deze versie stelt Linux gebruikers in staat met eenvoudige 'drag-and-drop'-handelingen geavanceerde en zeer visuele GUI open-source applicaties te creëren. De Kylix Open Edition bevat FreeCLX®, de open-source, GPL-licentieversie van de componentenbibliotheek voor cross-platform ontwikkeling. Kylix Open Edition biedt een uitgebreide verzameling van meer dan 100 herbruikbare, op maat te snijden en uit te breiden FreeCLX componenten voor open source Linux applicaties. Borland Kylix is een hoogwaardige Rapid Application Development (RAD) omgeving voor het Linux platform.
